A reflection on the aftermath of the Polish government's plane crash in 2010 as seen through the eyes of the international
journalists who came to Poland to cover the event. Many ashamedly admit not knowing about the Katyn Forest massacre or even much Polish history in general.
The plane crash revealed this international ignorance and reflects how those opinions changed when these journalists arrived to report on the crash.
An interesting film showing the public's reaction to the tragedy and what it seemed to suggest about Poland's society. Many of the journalists comment on the camaraderie
and communal sorrow exhibited by the Polish people shortly following the news. Released just a year later, this film highlights how tragedy brought out the best in Poland's
citizens, and how this translated into international respect towards for them.
